Drs. Matthew and LaTasha Nesbitt—fondly known as Dr. Matt and Dr. Nes—are the embodiment of a modern power couple. Together, they have authored a diverse range of works, including leadership resources, personal memoirs, and a co-authored relationship book. As dynamic speakers, they have traveled nationwide, contributing to conferences, seminars, and training workshops.

These Illinois natives have been married since 2006. They have lived in Los Angeles for the last nine years and are excited to bring hope and fresh ministry experience to the Southern California region. 

With over 20 years of ministry experience, the Nesbitts carry a unique Apostolic and Prophetic calling, marked by the transformative and demonstrative power of God. In 2024, they founded Deeper Church LA, a cutting-edge church devoted to fostering spiritual depth and community impact. The Nesbitts aspire to reach the community, city, and world with the gospel presented through practicality, power, and demonstration.

Beyond ministry, the Nesbitt family has extensive experience in the entertainment industry, contributing to print, film, and commercial projects. As entrepreneurs, they each lead successful ventures: Dr. Nes leds Dr. Nes International Consulting & Publishing and Balanced Cultural Connections, while Dr. Matt leads MLN Ministries. Together, they co-founded the Power Couple Network, LLC, an initiative dedicated to strengthening relationships and marriages through foundational principles, conferences, and retreats. They also lead COLLAB, LLC, a training and mentoring collective that provides training and mentorship to pastors, leaders, entrepreneurs and other creative individuals.  

Both Dr. Matt and Dr. Nes earned their Ph.D.s from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. They currently reside in Los Angeles County, where they are raising two teenagers—and would gladly welcome your prayers for this joyful journey of parenting. ;)
